Situated in the south of Mallorca, Spain, an authentic Mediterranean style retreat finca set in luscious gardens which naturally create their own private spaces and corners ideal for resting, meditating or reading… to the sound of running water from the fountains or the singing of the birds at sunset.

The finca offers a generous space with diverse terraces, swimming pool, barbecue area and chill out with sun-beds and hammocks under the trees in the fresh breeze and shade.

This authentic Mallorcan house is surrounded by large spacious gardens which offer the guest the possibility of experiencing deep rest embraced by nature. There are many different places to sit inspired by the beauty of nature, hammocks under the shade of the trees, the singing birds, and the running water of the fountains create a magical atmosphere ideal to restore balance to mind-body-spirit.

A palm tree courtyard connects the main house to the terraces and the yoga hall which is fully equipped with yoga materials such as yoga mats, blankets, blocks, bolsters, belts.

Rhythm of the Day

Our yoga practice and pilates sessions will be held in the beautiful spacious yoga shala overlooking the lush gardens, bathed in natural light and surrounded by the island breeze. 

Joanne will begin her morning sessions with Pranayam, Meditation to awken your energy before moving into a Vinyasa Yoga practice that is dynamic, fluid, energizing and self-motivating. Filled with technique, alignment and a systematic approach to building strength, mobility and balance, her classes offer an array of intelligent sequences covering a wide variety of themes leaving you feeling refreshed for the day.

On alternate days Louise will lead runs through the forest to the monastery of Monte-Sio. (You are welcome to join the group walking as well.) This will allow you to start your day breathing in the fresh air and be in touch with nature. Following the morning run/walk  we will use either Deep Stretch Yoga or a Pilates session to release tension and to realign your  body to set yourself for the rest of the day.

After the morning session there will be an abundant, healthy breakfast. There will be several hours in the day to yourself, where you can head off to one of the nearby beaches, enjoy a treatment with the massage therapist, take a ride to the nearby shops, cafes or simply relax by the pool.

The group will meet again in the late afternoon or evening. Louise will offer Power Pilates, a more high intense yet low impact form of workout focusing on every muscle in the body, guaranteed to make you feel muscles you may not have felt before and to feel such a wonderful burning effect it can become addictive.

Joanne will also spend time exploring the depths of relaxation using the quieter yoga systems that guide the body into states of profound rest.  She will offer the deeply nourishing practices of Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Sound Mediation during the late afternoon and evening sessions.

About The Instructors

About Joanne Smallwood

Joanne has been practicing yoga since 1997 and teaching since 2005. Joanne leads Vinyasa flow classes that are dynamic, fluid, energizing and self-motivating. Filled with technique, alignment and a systematic approach to building strength, mobility and balance, her classes offer an array of intelligent sequences covering a wide variety of themes.  

She has a keen eye for reading bodies and helping people work through limitations to build a stronger, more powerful, transformative practice.

 Joanne loves to explore all aspects of the yoga spectrum.  She has a deep appreciation for the quieter yoga systems that guide the body into states of deep rest. She has a passion for Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra, and Sound Mediation. She has been doing Sound Mediations regularly since studying this profound method in India in 2017.

About Louise Whiles-James

From a young age I have always been active and had a passion for movement. I finished school and pursued a career in dance and Musical Theatre, not your standard ‘real job’ but one I am truly thankful for as It’s brought me to where I am today.

I find happiness in movement, not just one method but I am and always have been open minded in trying new ways of movement, I truly believe in a variety of methods of exercise, but mainly just do what you enjoy, but don’t knock it till you’ve tried it. My passion is to help and cater the bestway I can so everyone can strive to be a healthier version of themselves.

My fitness journey started in Barre, an upbeat, low impact yet high intensity method, fun and energetic targeting every muscle in the body. Seeing how much joy this brought to many clients lives, I knew this was the path for me. I then started Pilates to help to re align my body after years of abuse I brought upon myself from Dance, I’ve studied Mat and Reformer and truly believe Pilates is the foundation of many exercises. Aside from low impact I also have a true passion for running, something I never actually enjoyed until recently, it’s truly made me appreciate what the body is capable of. 

We are capable of so much, we just have to believe it, and find the right balance in life, to enjoy the highs and appreciate the lows. I am here to help you achieve your goal in the most fun way possible, as life is worth living.


The retreat starts on the Saturday evening with a welcome meal. The last class is on the Friday evening with a farewell breakfast on Saturday morning. All evening meals are included expect one, leaving one night free for dining out.

Arrive on Saturday 30 April 2022, after 3pm and we will meet for the first time as a group just before dinner. Check out 10am Saturday 7 May 2022 after breakfast.

  • Spelunk the stalactite-encrusted depths of Mallorca’s most magical caves, Coves del Drach.

Yoga Retreat Terms and Conditions

Covid-19 Policy
We have a fully flexible Covid-19 booking policy and offer a full refund or option to rebook with another retreat within 12 months.
In the unlikely event that the retreat is unable to go ahead and is cancelled and; or you are unable to travel due to Government enforced C-19 travel restriction or reasons (lock downs, major C19 country travel restrictions etc.). A PCR test will be required as proof of postive infection status.

1.   It is the customer’s responsibility to check the reservation and ensure that the particulars contained therein are correct.
2.   The customer shall pay  a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit in the sum of 50% of the balance due for each person named in the reservation.
3.   The balance monies due shall be paid by the customer not less than 8 weeks prior to the date of departure. Bookings within the last 8 weeks must be paid in full at time of booking. Payment can be made by bank transfer or cash.
4.   If payment of either the deposit or the balance is not received by the due date we reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit.
5.   In the event of cancellation by the customer, regardless of the circumstances, the following refund fees, minus the deposit, apply. The deposit is non-refundable, as mentioned in 2:
Cancellation 2 weeks or less before due arrival date, 0% refund
Cancellation 2 to 4 weeks before due arrival date, 25% refund
Cancellation 4 to 8 weeks before due arrival date, 50% refund
Cancellation more than 8 weeks before due arrival date, 100% refund minus the deposit.
