Yoga Class Descriptions:
This class is suitable for complete beginners to any form of yoga. You will be taught working with the breath and the basic postures as well as linking them together in flowing sequences. Everyone is welcome!
Vinyasa Flow Level 2:
The foundation of this class will be Vinyasa style, which uses different flowing sequences each week covering a wide variety of themes. There is a lot of emphasis on personal freedom within the instructions, our philosophy is to guide you to make the practice about yourself. Each class will have a warm-up, dynamic and finishing sequence and will include a wide range of asanas. Not suitable for absolute beginners.
Prenatal Yoga provides a safe and calming environment for pregnant women to nurture their bodies and bond with their unborn babies. This class will help build and maintain strength, stamina and flexibility and improve balance and circulation. Yoga can also alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy such as nausea, constipation, varicose veins, swelling, back pain and sciatica.
The benefits of prenatal yoga go beyond creating comfort in the physical body. Yoga can help to balance the hormones of the endocrine system, offering pregnant women an over all sense of tranquilly. The breathing techniques and meditative aspects of yoga can help to alleviate anxiety sounding pregnancy and childbirth which can be carried though and applied during labour. Prenatal classes are specially modified for women in any stage of pregnancy, no yoga experience necessary.
This class will focus on a blissful sequence of tranquil, restful postures that will relax and restore you. Simple exercises and postures to help in self awareness, relaxing our body, relieving stress and bringing healing to the body, mind and self.
