I have been a devoted yoga practitioner since my early twenties and I have taught internationally for over 16 years. After completing my Teacher Training in 2005 at The Downward Dog Yoga Centre in Toronto with Ron Reid and Diane Bruni, I traded the infamous Canadian winters for warmer shores of India. I spent 12 years practicing, learning and teaching in India, the motherland and birth place of yoga. This was a time for growth, constant learning and transformation – my love of yoga, teaching and practicing, evolved.
I lead Vinyasa flow classes that are dynamic, fluid, energizing and self-motivating. Filled with technique, alignment and a systematic approach to building strength and balance, my classes offer an array of intelligent sequences covering a wide variety of themes. I have a keen eye for reading bodies and helping people work through limitations to build a stronger more powerful, transformative practice.
My Prenatal and Restorative yoga classes provide a space to share my love for deep relaxation as I guide my students into a state of bliss.
I also offers ‘sound meditation’ sessions for deeper rejuvenation. Using Tibetan Bowls as instruments for sound vibration, one can reach a state of stillness and calm, in which sound nourishes the nervous system allowing the entire body to relax at a deeply profound level.
